This little guy was among the first of the series of small cast plaster gargoyle figurines I'm currently creating. The concept is to produce desktop-sized gargoyles for people who don't have their own castles for putting full sized ones on. This one wasn't produced with anything particular in mind, though in retrospect, his expression perfectly captures the many more boring aspects of moulding and casting. It's an art that requires precision and patience, and I'm short on both.
