I have something of a reputation among my friends as that guy who's handy for putting something together, fixing things, and making wierd stuff. So now and again I get the chance to take a break from my own ideas (which tend to haunt me) and just do what I'm told. I can be quite a relief.

It's an interesting thing, working around someone else's concept. I'll take an image or a vague notion of what I think they want, and start with it not really knowing how it'll end up or if it'll be appropriate. I'm trying to do something they'll like while they've come to me because they like what I do. It sometimes works really well . . .
